Happy and carefree! Now you can hear the wind I was talking about in my last post. 💹 The second video was taken on the way back to the car, and that was before the wind got really crazy! Haha. Isn’t nature just so stunning? 😍

Little life update: I finally went to an orthodontist consultation about a week ago. My plan was to transfer my Invisalign treatment from North Carolina to here. I haven’t been moving my teeth for about a year, but I wear my trays at night. In that time I’ve noticed my overbite has once again appeared. The consult was extremely disappointing. I liked the orthodontist a lot because he was very honest and up front with me. He said that he won’t give me Invisalign treatment because it would be a waste of time and money. He said my story is a sad one and his heart goes out to me.

Backstory: I had a narrow pallet and had to have it expanded when I was a kid. Then I had braces and headgear for 4 years. A few years ago I noticed I had an overbite and my pallet looked narrow on the top. I went to an orthodontist and he said I have a tongue thrust and I needed speech therapy before starting treatment. So I did weeks of speech therapy and tongue exercises. Then I wore Invisalign for a year and I thought things were going well until I started rubber bands. 1 leave everything how it is and just get retainers.
2 have braces for 18 months, then jaw surgery, then braces for several more months.

And this might not just be a decision based on aesthetics because only my back molars are touching. Which means I might grind my teeth down to nothing in the future. There is a spot that’s already completely flat. This whole situation is so overwhelming fo
